Philip Green, chief executive of the Arcadia Group, the high street fashion retailer that runs BHS, has been named the Specialist Schools Trust’s sponsor of the year 2005. He received a special commendation at the trust’s annual lecture in London, after backing 50 of the schools with a donation of Pounds 1.25 million.
