Scottish Natural Heritage has produced new education resources to help teachers explore rights and responsibilities in the outdoors with their pupils.

The two free activity guides contain ideas for use with eight to 12 year-olds and 12 to 14 year-olds and can be used in the classroom, school grounds or local area. They suggest a range of approaches, including role play and debate; creative activities; active games and group activities. They also include teaching aids such as a poster, photo cards, the Scottish Outdoor Access Code TV adverts, and a “Crack the Code” dial.
