Boom in IGCSEs

Half a million children worldwide have been entered for the International GCSE exams this summer. More than 2,000 schools in 125 countries now offer the exam. University of Cambridge International Examinations said it expected an increase of at least 15 per cent next year. Growth had been particularly strong in China and India. The Cambridge IGCSE is the most popular qualification in the world for 14 to 16 year-olds.
