Brain waves across the Atlantic

21st March 2003, 12:00am
ONE of the most influential educational figures of his generation is coming to Scotland next weekend to share his latest thinking with audiences in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Professor Howard Gardner of the Harvard Graduate School of Education in the United States, who developed the theory of multiple intelligences, will signal that he is keen to work with Scottish teachers to spread his ideas.

The sessions have been organised by Tapestry, the educational think-tank which is committed to spreading the word about leading-edge research and practice, particularly on brain-based learning.
