Features include a relaunch of the Bitesize revision site, a huge archive of video-clips for schools, selected by teachers, and a set of TV, radio and online studies that follow the lives of eight people in China - suitable for upper primary or across subjects and age ranges. A portal launches in November on the history of Scotland. It will have interactive maps, timelines, a TV series, video-clips, articles, and an online forum “to debate Scotland’s turbulent history”. www.bbc.co.ukscotlandlearning Work in progress Industry Spotlight from Dundee firm JAB Media is a series of DVDs, case studies and teaching resources on careers. “We’re putting the films online, to be used in class or at home - the DVDs are also being distributed to all education authorities,” says director Chris Black. The series will cover energy, construction, finance, pharmaceuticals, food and drink, public sector, ITdigital media, law, retail, and travel and tourism.
