Catherine Wheels Theatre Company’s decision to keep its plays in repertoire has paid off again, with the confirmation of a two-week run on New York’s Broadway this spring for its award-winning show Lifeboat.

The production was a hit for writer Nicola McCartney and director Gill Robertson on its appearance in 2002, “an affirming shout for human courage,” said TES Scotland at the time.

Meanwhile, in Scotland, the company’s tour of Martha, its humorous story about friendship and trust, is visiting 45 schools in nine regions, between January 30 and March 24.
