London’s councils need a greater say in the running of FE in the capital, if all 16-year-olds are to be given the opportunities they deserve, the newly-formed Association of London Government says in a policy paper this week. But a plea for reforms on these lines by Philip Hunter and Margaret Maden in The TES last week received an overwhelmingly negative response from colleges.
