Caribbean boys fall far behind

Figures for Afro-Caribbean girls in last week’s TES front-page story “Caribbean boys fall far behind” were incorrect. They related to black African girls of whom 33 per cent got A-C in maths and 37.5 per cent in science. Caribbean girls fared worse, achieving 12.2 per cent and 17.7 per cent respectively.
