Centre of networks ‘needed for families’

Early years charity 4Children has said that a supported national network of children’s centres should be part of the “social fightback” in response to last week’s riots. 4Children welcomed David Cameron’s pledge to turn around the lives of the 120,000 most troubled families but said that intensive and integrated family support should be available not just for 120,000 families but for all who are at risk of crisis.
