Senior pupils at Dunoon Grammar have produced a film about child trafficking, which will be premiered at the Glasgow Film Theatre on June 23. The school was approached by the local Women’s Aid group to try and come up with a small drama based on the topic. After performing at a Women’s Aid conference, the pupils became involved with Spirit Aid, a charity run by Scottish actor and director David Hayman, and with the help of its Shooters Project, turned their drama into a short film. It is a project they recommend strongly to other schools, saying “it would be a great experience for any school to take part in.”
