In the days of O-levels, the grades available were A, B, C, D, E, F, G, U. However, grades available in the GCSE examination are AH, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, U.
Is this not clear evidence of grade inflation in which AH replaces A and making, for example, the O-level C grade the equivalent to a GCSE B grade.
