EARTHWORM SHORT STORY COMPETITION. Six leading children’s authors have penned the first lines of stories featuring Eddie the Earthworm. To accompany its 1995 Earthworm Children’s Book Award, Friends of the Earth is inviting pupils from primary, senior and special schools to complete these stories, either individually or as a class, by October 2.
