The Mathematical Association is holding a primary maths conference exploring strategies to support the whole ability range and stretch the most able. Workshops on creativity and enrichment will be led by Lynne McClure, teacher, writer, researcher, and Jenni Back, senior research associate, Cambridge University. The annual conference of the National Association of Mathematics Advisers, on the theme “Who counts?”, will be held at the Sandbanks Hotel, Poole, Dorset, March 15-18. Speakers will include representatives from the QCA and HMI. Workshops will include reasoning, master classes, ICT, and professional development for teachers, consultants and advisers.
