Mathematical Dreams and Visions is the theme of the Association of Teachers of Mathematics’ annual conference at Westminster College, Oxford, April 17-20. Seminars will include: dynamic visions in geometry; visions and visualisation: seeing your data move with Fathom; a mathematical Crystal Maze; maths and make-believe play; modular A-levels for all; developing students’ space imagination; and using TV to develop children’s understanding of number. Among the contributors will be representatives from the National Numeracy Strategy and Teacher Training Agency.
