(Photograph) - The Neovo 15-inch flat-screen monitors being sold by RM created a stir at January’s BETT show. In presentation areas they scored highly for style, clarity and saving space. Although that’s true of some other flat-screens too, a Neovo has its own unique selling point - a thick plate of scratch-resistant, anti-reflective glass immediately over the screen, which makes it far more useful in locations where it might take a knock or require a serious wipe-down. And it has a two-inch black border that gives a strong boost to the presented image. The combination made it a favourite for laptop computer viewing of The Matrix DVD. The base, with its front panel controls, swivels right around on a strong hinge so the screen can be flush wall-mounted. For public areas requiring a stylish, robust presentation screen this is a strong candidate, although it could score higher on image quality (1024 x 768) and sound.
