Crispy contraband

Two primary pupils were forced to walk more than a mile home alone after being ordered off a school bus for eating crisps. Demi Waters and Thomas Beaujean, both nine, of St Joseph’s RC Primary in Swansea, said they were warned about eating crisps on the bus by the on-board chaperone, then ordered off at the next stop. A Swansea council spokesman said it was investigating the incident and that the bus service was run by a private contractor.
