Crossed legs in PPP Glasgow

THE public private partnership school built to replace Penilee Secondary and Crookston Castle Secondary in Glasgow not only evokes a sense of exclusivity, it practises it.

So determined are the powers-that-be to keep Rosshall Secondary in pristine condition that staff toilets are permanently locked, and teachers have to beg their head of department for the key to the cludgy (as they don’t say in Rosshall).

Some have been left wondering whether the principals’ new duties are the result of post-McCrone jobby-sizing.
