Curfew for under-10s faces axe;News amp; Opinion;News in Brief

MINISTERS MAY drop powers introduced only last year which allow councils to impose curfews on unruly under-10s. No council has so far invoked the powers, and Home Secretary Jack Straw has said he is giving “sympathetic consideration” to police demands for the minimum curfew age to be raised to 16, as in Scotland.
