Do or Die

Things are getting confused in Moray. Councillors were told in a report on school exclusions: “Sine Die literally means without limit of time. In the Moray guidelines, the expression ‘permanent’ is used, and it is thought that this is too permanent! It may be that we should move back to the original direct translation of Sine Die. Moray guidelines do differentiate between short-term and conditional exclusions, both of which are temporary and Sine Die exclusion, which is currently taken as permanent.”

Working it out takes time.
