Don’t mess with him

Supply teachers often have difficulties with discipline, but High River in Canada is one place where pupils will think twice before trying it on. That’s because there is always the chance that the person in front of them is Keith Hart, a retired pro-wrestler.

Mr Hart taught all the way through his wrestling career, after his father encouraged him to study for a degree. He enjoys the flexibility of working when he chooses and the challenge of being in new environments.

When asked how children react to having a wrestler-teacher in the classroom, he said: “I walk in and they’re really familiar with me and my brother Bret. So I tell them that if they get their assignments done, then I’ll talk to them about wrestling.”
