A British coach driver facing charges over the death of three children in a crash in the Alps last summer denied in court that he was to blame. Jim Shaw was ferrying 19 children from St James's C of E school, Bolton, when his coach careered off a road into a 70ft ravine. Mr Shaw, 43, who is charged with involuntary homicide, told the court in Albertville, France, that he could not explain the accident.
