Electricity generator Edison Mission Energy commissioned The Power Programme website to support learning about electricity at KS2-3. It features the Power Zone interactive learning centre where children can work with the Professor, his nephew Edward and helpers Eddi and Edwina on tasks like building an electric circuit, following an energy trail, or even visiting Snowdon to check out the weather on a webcam. You get support and advice on arranging school trips to real power stations. There’s also a teachers’ centre with worksheets for key curriculum areas.
