What is happening about management points? I have staff asking me whether they will lose income because of these being frozen.

When the Secretary of State accepted the recommendations of the Pay Review Body in the autumn, he announced a review of the present arrangements and the freeze at current levels. Thus, when pay increases become effective this year there will be no increase to cover inflation in the present allowances. The Government is consulting on how to replace the present system, but as the main recruitment period is approaching fast, there may be some confusion unless a decision is reached quickly.
