UNTIL NOVEMBER 23 IN ROYAL FASHION: THE CLOTHES OF PRINCESS CHARLOTTE OF WALES AND QUEEN VICTORIA

Exhibition of 35 dresses and accessories spanning over a century of royal fashion at Museum of London, London Wall, EC2. They include wedding dresses (640 hours of work went into Princess Charlotte’s), coronation robes, dressing gowns, bonnets and parasols. The dresses from Queen Victoria’s later years indicate that she shrank to approximately four feet seven inches. Details: 0171 600 3699.

MAY 25-26 EMERGENCY SERVICES WEEKEND Over 100 emergency services vehicles will gather at the Royal Air Force Museum, Hendon, London NW9.
