Students at Newcastle College paid homage to wartime favourites The Andrews Sisters at the opening of the Pounds 3.3 million aviation academy last Friday. Based at the city’s airport, the academy will provide training for all aspects of the aviation industry, and features its own working passenger jet and hangar.
