Sean O’Sullivan, deputy head of Frank Wise school, Banbury, Oxfordshire, is the winner of the joint TESBritish Institute of Florence competition of January 16 to spend Easter in Florence. Flying there with Ryanair, he will stay at the institute’s Foresteria apartment in the Palazzo Lanfredini for a week and take part in a three-day intensive art course on the Cenacoli, or Last Suppers.

He told the judges: “I am taking a group of pupils with severe learning difficulties to Florence in May to study Renaissance art. This study visit would be a superb opportunity to develop my knowledge of the city, and establish valuable links with people who could help us during our visit.”
