Beat, a new magazine about music for young music-makers aged 14 upwards, is published by spnm, a national organisation committed to furthering the needs and aspirations of composers of all ages and who write music in mny styles. It contains features, courses, special offers and competitions. Copies have been distributed to schools and it also appears on the spnm website at spnm.org.uk. A year’s membership of spnm is free.
