Free buses go-ahead

The extension of free bus transport to pupils in Wales aged 8 and over was approved by the Senedd this week and only needs Royal Assent to make it law. Opposition parties criticised the measure because it does not make it a mandatory requirement for pupils attending Welsh-medium or faith schools, despite calls for amendments.
