Free film tickets

22nd April 2005, 1:00am
Win a free trip to the cinema for an entire year group, or, if you teach in a primary or special school, you could make it an outing for everyone!

As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, Film Education is offering a free film screening for a group of up to 300 pupils. Just choose the film you’d like to see from a wide range of contemporary and classic titles and Film Education will organise a special screening at a cinema near you. To enter, email your name, address and a contact telephone number to events@filmeducation.org and mark it Free TES screening. The 20th email we receive will win.

And if you have a budding Barry Norman in your school, he or she can enter this year’s TES Young Film Critic awards launched this week and supported by director Danny Boyle (see My Best Teacher overleaf). Two students (aged 11-14 and 15-18) can win a day shadowing the editor of a top film magazine, as well as a year’s free cinema pass (www.filmeducation.org).
