Front-runner in training

I was shocked when reading your article on changes to the B.Ed (16 December), to see no mention of the four-year Master of Arts primary education course at the University of Glasgow’s Dumfries Campus.

This course is leading the way in teacher education in Scotland. It was put in place before the Donaldson Review and has an emphasis on child development as well as educational studies, and allows students to study interdisciplinary subjects.

I am in my second year of the course. The first cohort graduates this year.
