Carly Booth will be the star attraction among about 80 under 16-year-olds at the Bank of Scotland Junior Masters final at Gleneagles on October 5. The 11-year-old, who has just started at Morrison’s Academy in Crieff, made national headlines in June as the youngest player ever to become a club champion when she won the ladies title at Dunblane Golf Club.

She won the girls’ junior masters regional qualifying tournament at Auchterarder in July with a Stableford 37 points, playing off a handicap of five and recording six net birdies.
