The Government will “vigorously contest” legal action brought by councils over the decision to axe Building Schools for the Future, Education Secretary Michael Gove has said. Four local authorities are seeking judicial review over the move to scrap the programme, but Mr Gove said the Government would fight the action to make sure the public appreciated that BSF had “failed”.
