We are glad to welcome the “red triangle day for east-coast nurses,” to quote from Napier University’s press release on its “hugely exciting” absorption of the Lothian College of Health Studies and the Scottish Borders College of Nursing - the red triangle being Napier’s logo.
Napier’s acquisition of the two colleges has brought out the best in the marketing persons who, presumably mindful of the nursing implications, described gaining 2,000 new students “at a stroke”.
