The injustice of ofsted;Letter

Having read the article “Great Expectations” (TES, April 3) I sympathise with John d’Abbro‘s experience of the Office for Standards in Education.

I teach maths in an emotionally and behaviourally disturbed school that was recently inspected. We too achieve better than average results at GCSE (100 per cent pass rate in maths) when compared to schools of this type. Judgments based on 20-minute observations here and there cannot do a school like ours justice.
