Inspectors voice fears on paper

SCHOOL inspectors are being warned to seek advice on the safety of their carbonless copy paper because of fears about possible health dangers. The Office for Standards in Education has written to contractors following reports from the National Association of Educational Inspectors Advisers and Consultants that some members suspected the paper was causing throat discomfort. In the United States, carbonless paper has been blamed for symptoms including uncomfortable breathing, nausea, nose bleeds and extreme allergic reaction.
