The Learning and Skills Council says it has decided how it will implement the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

FErret fears this piece of legislation, like the Data Protection Act, will be interpreted differently by every organisation it affects. But we may have to wait a while before finding out how the LSC will carry out its new obligations - or perhaps not.

According to a briefing note from the quango, a “publication scheme for freedom of information” has been introduced by David Russell, its national human resources and corporate services director.

So where is this valuable tome about the new age of open government?

Er, despite having been “introduced”, it is not yet available for publication.
