Film-makers are being given the chance to have their work broadcast to the nation by making a film for the Bafta awards ceremony.

Anyone over the age of 16 can enter by producing a 60-second short on the theme of Celebrate.

Shortlisted films will be shown on local BBC channels, and a public vote will select one from each region.

All regional winners will win two tickets to the Bafta awards ceremony and the overall winner will have their film broadcast on national television, as part of the event.

The competition is supported by many online resources and masterclasses on film-making.

Entries, which must be in by January 4, can be uploaded online at www.orange.co.ukbafta.
