THE PROPOSED merger between the Nicolson Institute and Lews Castle School in Stornoway has become even murkier following the threat of legal action against the Lews school board. Marti Imrie, the parent who last year successfully raised a Court of Session action against the Western Isles Council over the merger, believes he has been defamed by the board.
