Lessons in epilepsy

Children with epilepsy want classmates and teachers to be educated about the condition, according to research backed by charity Epilepsy Action. Birmingham university researchers found that pupils thought they would be better supported if adults knew more about epilepsy. Alison Knight, a spokeswoman for Epilepsy Action, said: “Our emphasis is on what schools can do individually. We are urging schools to take this research seriously and listen to what the children are saying.”
