No Sats in Scotland! No Sats in Wales! No Sats in Northern Ireland! Now no Sats in English secondary schools.

What is it about English primaries that means we still have to teach for these discredited tests? Were we naughty in a previous life? Was Mr Balls traumatised during story time at his primary school? Did he not get 10 out of 10 in one of his spelling tests? Was he forced to eat his jam roly-poly and pink custard?

Or is it that he just doesn’t trust English teachers, parents and children?
