Letters Extra: Will we be heard?

https://www.tes.com/magazine/archive/letters-extra-will-we-be-heard

I have just had a meeting with ournbsp; SENCO andnbsp;support staff to discuss the consultation response form on developing the role of school support staff.

Our responses to many of the questions were conditionalnbsp;agreements.nbsp;However, the format of the Response Form is to tick a box fornbsp;yes, no, or not sure, before filling in specific comments.

Hence, we have no confidence that our important comments, particularlynbsp;relating to pay scales and consultation for new job descriptions, will benbsp;taken into account whereas the auditors of the form will be able to count ournbsp;ticks in the Yes boxes.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;

Should we tick the no box ifnbsp; our response is a conditional yes?
