Glasgow will be well represented at a prestigious annual catering competition in Germany.
The Hamburg Market - or Gromarkt Obst - attracts thousands of people, and is being used to showcase Scottish fish, meat and soft fruits.
Glasgow’s representatives include Smithycroft Secondary pupils Scott McLerie and David Thomson, Eastbank Academy’s Raymond Lafferty, and Glasgow Metropolitan College students Andrew Cruickshank, Sebastian Wereski and Arran McCreadie. They will compete in the market’s Glass Kitchen Competition tomorrow, as well as the Norwegian Fish Competition on Sunday.
