The next generation of John Peels, James Naughties and Kirsty Youngs will be unearthed in a UK-wide competition to find the best school radio presenters.
The competition, run by SchoolsRadio.com with support from Sony UK, is offering the winners’ schools Pounds 750 each towards audio production equipment. The presenters will win an internship at one of the Global Radio group stations, which include a new station launching this month, Galaxy Scotland. Entries close on November 15.
