Medical showcase

19th May 2006, 1:00am
A new, permanent exhibition which looks at the story of medicine, has opened in the Hunterian Museum at Glasgow University.

“A Healing Passion: Medicine in Glasgow Past and Present” has been designed to appeal particularly to school and family audiences. The show features many interesting displays as well as artefacts that have never been on public view before.

Staff at the Hunterian are currently working on education resources to accompany the exhibition and hope to have these available by October when refurbishment work on the rest of the museum is completed.
