Grain advantage

Give pupils the feel-good factor as they practise their vocabulary with www.freerice.com, a non-profit website run by the United Nations World Food Programme.

What is it?

A website where pupils can practise vocabulary in their target language, from a choice of Spanish, German, French and Italian. Each time they answer a question correctly, the World Food Programme donates 10 grains of rice to an impoverished country. The website includes a leader board for the more competitive in your class.
