Moral majority

TODAY’S adolescents have surprisingly traditional morals, researchers at Bath University have found.

A study of 500 people of all age groups aged from 15 upwards found that the teenagers were more likely to value sexual fidelity and support tougher sentencing for riminals than any other age group. However, the teenagers were more relaxed than the older groups about the portrayal of sex on television

Respect for public figures, notably the police, the clergy and the Royal family has decreased for all age groups.
