Mozilla’s Firefox

* According to the latest surveys, more than one in 10 internet users has now opted for Mozilla’s Firefox web browser. The most commonly cited reason was that Firefox offered better security than Internet Explorer (still found on around one in 10 desktop computers). It also has other useful features including tabbed browsing, which lets you display a series of web pages as tabs on the one screen. This is great for flicking from one page to the other and much better than using the back and forward buttons, or having multiple pages open at the bottom of the screen. No doubt Microsoft will endeavour to plug the gap in its next version of IE. www.mozilla.org
