A teacher who assaulted both his wife and new girlfriend has been allowed to keep working. Robert Savage was also convicted of drink driving around the time of his attacks on the women, between 2006 and 2008. He has been given a reprimand by the General Teaching Council. A panel said his behaviour did not “adversely” affect pupils.
