A new campaign aims to educate pupils about the importance of recycling steel. Recycling seven steel cans can save enough energy to power a 60-watt lightbulb for 26 hours, according to Corus steel manufacturers. Corus has therefore launched a teaching resource to encourage pupils to recycle used steel cans. The resource includes lesson plans, videos, games and steel-related facts.
