New names for SQA

The Scottish Qualifications Authority, criticised by the Educational Institute of Scotland over the composition of its board, has co-opted three new members to represent schools, further education and higher education. They are Paul Thomson, depute head of Hermitage Academy in Helensburgh, Linda McKay, depute principal of Glenrothes College, and Colin Eden, professor of management science at Strathclyde University.
